Every workout you finish, every PR you set, every week you hit your goal - it all counts. Gravl Levels turns that work into XP and levels, so your consistency becomes something you can actually see (and show off 😉).
There are seven levels to climb, from Foundation all the way to Champion, and each one comes with its own collectible badge.
TURN ON GRAVL LEVELS 🔛
Gravl Levels is optional and turned off by default, so the first step is switching it on. You can do that in three ways:
- Go to Profile and in the Profile & Preferences section, turn on Gravl Levels.
- On the Progress tab, tap the Discover Gravl Levels card and confirm with Turn on.
- After finishing a workout, you might see a small Have you seen Gravl Levels? sheet. Tap View Gravl Levels and confirm.
Your choice is saved to your account, so it follows you across devices. Changed your mind? You can turn it off anytime in the same Settings section - your XP stays safe and will be waiting if you come back.
YOUR LEVEL AND XP 🎖️
Once enabled, you'll find your Gravl Levels card on the Progress tab, in the Activity section. It shows your current badge, your XP and how much is left to the next level. Tap it to open My Level, where you can:
- See the Level Track with all seven badges.
- Tap any badge to view it up close - and Share the ones you've earned to your Instagram Story or save them to your photos.
- Tap the clock icon in the top right to open your XP History, a day-by-day log of every XP you've earned.
- Tap the question mark icon for a quick refresher on how it all works.
THE SEVEN LEVELS
| Level | XP needed | What it stands for |
|---|---|---|
| 🪨 Foundation | 150 XP | First workouts completed |
| 🧱 Builder | 1,000 XP | Building the habit |
| 📆 Consistent | 3,000 XP | Training regularly |
| 💪 Strong | 10,000 XP | Real training momentum |
| 🚀 Advanced | 25,000 XP | Long-term commitment |
| 🔥 Elite | 55,000 XP | High consistency + progress |
| 👑 Champion | 100,000 XP | Top-level dedication |
Until you reach 150 XP, your screen will say Getting Started. And once you hit Champion, you've reached the top - max level!
HOW TO EARN XP ⚡
XP comes from four sources: workouts, progress, weekly goals and long-term cycles. After each workout, you'll see exactly what you earned in the +XP breakdown right on the workout screen.
WORKOUT XP 🏋🏻
Earned every time you finish a workout:
| Reward | XP |
|---|---|
| Complete planned workout | +100 |
| Complete manual workout (quick, custom or cardio session) | +50 |
| Complete all sets in a planned workout | +15 |
| Finish a workout in its scheduled week | +10 |
| Complete your first workout ever | +150 |
PROGRESS XP 📈
Rewards for getting better, not just showing up. Each of these can be earned once per week (the counter resets when your week starts):
| Reward | XP |
|---|---|
| New PR | +100 |
| Improve your estimated 1RM | +75 |
| Complete a progressive overload target | +50 |
| Add weight vs your last comparable session | +35 |
| Add reps vs your last comparable session | +25 |
If you qualify for a reward you've already earned that week, the breakdown still shows it - just crossed out with "Already earned this week", so you know you did the work. 😉
WEEKLY XP 🗓️
At the end of each week, your weekly goal pays off. You get the best tier you reached:
| Reward | XP |
|---|---|
| Complete at least 80% of your planned workouts | +100 |
| Hit your weekly workout target | +150 |
| Complete 100% of your planned workouts | +250 |
| Perfect week bonus (all planned workouts done) | +100 extra |
CYCLE XP 🔁
The big ones. Stay consistent over several weeks and stack serious XP:
| Reward | XP |
|---|---|
| Hit your goal with planned workouts 4 weeks in a row | +500 |
| Hit your weekly goal 8 weeks in a row | +1,000 |
💪🏼 Gravl Tip:
Your weekly goal drives a big chunk of your XP. Pick a number you can actually hit week after week - a realistic goal earns you more XP (and a longer streak) than an ambitious one you keep missing.
GOOD TO KNOW 💡
- Gravl Levels is about celebrating your journey - levels don't lock or unlock any app features.
- Level badges are separate from your Strength Score levels and from the Badges you'll find on your Profile. Three different trophy cabinets! 🏆
- If you delete a workout, the XP it earned is removed too. Fair is fair. 😄
