How to export
In the app, go to Profile → Account & subscription → Export my data. Macros prepares the file on your phone and opens the share menu, so you can save it to your files, send it by email, or open it in a spreadsheet app.
On the web, sign in at app.gravl.ai and go to Settings → Profile in the Macros section, then choose Download under Export data. The file downloads straight to your computer.
Both give you the same file: one .xlsx workbook, named after the day you exported it.
What's in the file
Your whole history, with one sheet for each kind of data:
- Food Log — every food you logged, with its date, time, portion, calories, macros, and nutrients;
- Calories & Macros and Micronutrients — your totals, day by day;
- Targets — the calorie and macro targets you had each day;
- Scale Weight, Weight Trend, and Body Metrics — your weigh-ins, your trend weight, and your body measurements;
- Expenditure — your estimated maintenance over time;
- Water — your water logs;
- Custom Foods, Recipes, and Recipe Ingredients;
- User Profile, Nutrition Program Settings, and Weight Goals — your profile and the history of your plan.
Amounts are in metric units (grams, kilograms, centimeters, and kcal) and column names are in English, whatever language and units you use in the app, so the file reads the same in any spreadsheet.
Bringing it back into Macros
The export can be imported again. In Profile → Account & subscription → Import data, pick the file on its own: Macros recognizes it and reads your food log and the rest of your history from that single workbook. Import your data explains what you can choose to bring.
If you can't open the app
Email support@gravl.ai from your account's address and we'll send you the export.
