Home-Screen Widgets

Your calories, macros and trend weight on the home screen, one glance away.

The widgets

Widgets show your numbers without opening the app, updating as you log:

  • Calories — a compact ring with today's calories against your target (iPhone and Android).
  • Macros — a wider widget with today's protein, carbs, and fat progress (iPhone and Android).
  • Nutrients — a compact view of additional nutrient progress (iPhone and Android).
  • Trend Weight — your trend weight, its weekly change and the date of your last weigh-in (iPhone and Android). The medium size on iPhone, and the wider Trend Weight Chart on Android, add a line of your weigh-ins over the last 30 days, like the Weight card in Body Metrics, and a button to log a weigh-in.

The trend weight shown is the same one your program judges your goal on. Until your weigh-ins span a week, the widget shows your latest weigh-in and how many days are left until the trend appears.

Adding them

The standard OS flow, nothing custom:

  • iPhone — long-press the home screen, tap the +, search for Gravl Macros, pick a widget and size, and place it.
  • Android — long-press the home screen, choose Widgets, find Gravl Macros, and drag the one you want into place.

Tapping a widget opens the app, and the logging buttons go straight to logging: food from the nutrition widgets, a weigh-in from the larger weight widget.
