Language
Gravl Macros is available in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. By default it follows your phone's language (falling back to English); to pick explicitly, go to Profile → App preferences → Language. Your choice syncs with your account, so a second device follows along.
Spanish speakers get one extra option: food vocabulary. It offers three choices — Automatic, which follows your phone; General Spanish; and Argentina. The two variants name foods the way you actually say them — the interface language stays the same, but searches and results use your region's words.
Food names in the catalog are translated continuously; an occasional brand-new item may briefly show its English name the first time it appears.
Start of the week
Profile → App preferences → Start of week sets the day each week begins on: Monday (the default), Sunday, or Automatic, which follows your phone's region. It changes how weeks are drawn and added up across the app — the day strip, the weekly budget, the water rail, the calendars, and the weekly bars in long charts. Your choice syncs with your account.
Two things keep their own day: your check-in day, and the streak freeze, which always comes back on Monday. Switching mid-week moves the weekly budget's window, so what's left for the week is counted again from the new first day; your logged food and your targets don't change.
Units
In Profile → App preferences → Measurements and units you control:
- Units — metric (kg, cm) or imperial (lb, ft/in);
- Energy unit — kilocalories (kcal) or kilojoules (kJ).
Changes apply everywhere immediately — targets, diary, charts, and history are displayed in your chosen units. Nothing is converted destructively: switch back and forth freely, your data is stored precisely underneath.
