Record what you ate
Tap the add button and choose Voice. Tap the microphone and speak naturally — "two eggs and a slice of toast" is enough. The transcript appears live while you talk; recording stops when you tap the mic again, or on its own after a short pause.
Your device's speech recognition turns your voice into text, in the app's language. Only the text is analyzed — the audio itself is never uploaded by the app.
Edit the transcript before analyzing
The transcript is an editable text field. Before you tap Analyze, you can fix words the recognition got wrong or add details that make the result better: portions, brands, sauces, how it was cooked. Redo clears everything so you can start over.
Amounts you say explicitly are respected — "200 grams of rice" stays 200 grams rather than being re-estimated.
Review and save
Analysis returns the same review screen as photo logging: each food matched against the database, portions estimated where you didn't state them, everything editable before it goes into your diary. Pick the date and time, then confirm.
If it can't find any food
When the description doesn't mention anything edible, you'll be asked to be more specific and can record again, search the database instead, or enter the food manually. Voice logging needs an internet connection for the analysis step.
