Sign Out and Password Reset

Leaving a device safely, getting back into your account, and how sign-in works across Gravl.

Updated

One account for all of Gravl

You sign in with Apple, Google, or an email and password — and it's the same Gravl account across Gravl Macros and Gravl Workouts. Signing up with email includes a quick verification step (a code sent to your inbox) before the app opens up.

Signing out

Profile → Sign out signs out this device only; other devices stay signed in. Your local data is cleared from the phone as part of signing out — that's a privacy feature, not a loss: everything lives in your account and returns on your next sign-in, once the device syncs.

One practical note: anything logged offline uploads when the app next has a connection. If you've been logging without internet, let the app sync before signing out so those entries have made it to your account.

Forgot your password?

On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password and enter your email — you'll get a reset link, choose a new password, and sign in with it. This same flow is also how you change a password you still remember: there's no separate change-password screen in the app, so request a reset email and set the new one.

If you signed up with Apple or Google, there's no Gravl password at all — access is managed by that provider.
