You've been crushing your weekly goal for weeks, and then life gets in the way - a trip, a cold, a deadline. Does your streak have to die? Not anymore.
A Streak Freeze automatically covers a week where you miss your weekly goal, so your streak keeps going like nothing happened.
How freezes work
- If a week ends and you didn't hit your weekly goal, an equipped freeze is used automatically. No taps needed.
- One freeze covers one missed week.
- You start with one free freeze, already equipped. Welcome gift!
To see your freezes, open the Progress tab, tap your streak card and then tap the snowflake at the top of the Streaks screen.
Equip your freezes
Freezes only protect you while they're equipped. On the Streak Freeze screen you'll find three slots under Equipped Freezes:
- Tap a slot to equip or unequip a freeze.
- A filled shield with a checkmark means the freeze is armed and ready.
- You can hold up to 3 freezes at a time.
Gravl Tip:
There's no real reason to keep a freeze unequipped. New ones arrive already equipped, so there's usually nothing to do, and if you ever unequip one, remember to arm it again.
Earn more freezes
You earn a new freeze every 10 streak weeks - the Earn next freeze card shows exactly how many weeks are left. When a new one arrives, you'll get a little celebration screen.
A couple of things to keep in mind:
- Freezes expire 3 months after you earn them (the screen shows the next expiry date).
- When a freeze is needed, Gravl always spends the one closest to expiring, so nothing goes to waste.
Good to know
- Freezes protect your streak, but they don't count as workouts - your weekly stats will still show what you actually did.
