Your logging, your grid

The add button opens a grid of shortcuts, and that grid is yours to compose. Profile → Menu shortcuts shows one list of everything available, each row with a switch and a drag handle: turn on what you want and drag it into the order you want it in. The ones you've enabled sort to the top. Changes apply when you tap Save — leaving without saving keeps the grid you had.

The grid shapes itself to how many you keep: under five sit in two columns, exactly five split three and two, and from six up they fill rows of three. Any remainder that doesn't fill a row lands on a compact pill row below — so three shortcuts read as a row of two with one on the pill, and a single shortcut is just the pill.

Up to nine shortcuts can be active at once. Search isn't on the list because it's always there — the one fixed anchor of the add button.

The catalog

Eleven shortcuts to choose from:

  • Quick Add — calories and macros straight to your log
  • Barcode — scan codes on branded foods
  • Voice — log meals by speaking
  • Photo — log meals by camera
  • Recipes / New Recipe — open yours, or start one
  • My Foods / New Food — browse saved foods, or create one
  • Weight — log a weigh-in
  • Measurements — log body measurements
  • Edit Day — the day options screen

Defaults are the logging four: Quick Add, Barcode, Voice, Photo.

Two things worth knowing

  • The water row isn't managed here — it appears when Quick water logging is on, as its own band.
  • Shortcut order is stored on this device: sign in on a new phone and the defaults return there, while this phone keeps your arrangement.
