Body Data Across Gravl Apps

Weight, measurements, and photos belong to your account — both apps read and write the same history.

One body, one dataset

Gravl Macros and Gravl Workouts share your body data through your Gravl account: weight entries, body measurements, and progress photos are one history, not two copies. Log in either app; both see it.

What that looks like in practice

  • Weigh in inside Macros → your Workouts profile reflects the new weight.
  • Weigh in inside Workouts → the entry appears in your Macros history, moves your trend, and feeds your expenditure like any other weigh-in.
  • Measurements and photos logged anywhere show up everywhere.

When sources overlap

With two apps and a health platform in play, the same morning can produce multiple records. The rules that keep it sane:

  • Each day resolves to one canonical weight, and a value you typed yourself outranks automatic ones.
  • Health imports skip entries that originated in Gravl apps, so a weigh-in that traveled out to Apple Health or Health Connect never comes back as a duplicate.

What never crosses

The sharing is body data, full stop. Your food diary, recipes, targets, and expenditure stay in Macros; your training stays in Workouts. Each app sees the other's body signals — not its content.
