Editing an entry
Tap an entry in your journal to select it, then choose Edit in the selection bar that appears — it is available whenever exactly one entry is selected. The detail opens exactly as you logged it, same portion, same unit, ready to adjust. Change the amount or pick a different portion chip, then Update rewrites the entry in place.
Entries remember their own serving snapshot, so an old log always reopens showing precisely what you logged back then — even if the underlying food was edited later.
Deleting
Swipe an entry to delete it. It disappears immediately with an Undo toast, so a wrong swipe costs nothing. For several at once, tap each entry to select it and use the selection bar's delete — swiping is switched off while a selection is open, so the two never fight each other.
Bulk editing
The same selection bar does more than delete: selected entries can be copied or moved to another time, grouped into one card, saved as a custom food or recipe, or exploded into components — each covered in its own article in this collection.
Editing the past
All of this works on any day, not just today. Corrections to previous days flow into your trend and expenditure math — which is a feature, and worth understanding: see Editing Past Data Recalculates Your Estimates.
