What grouping is
Grouping folds two or more entries into a single collapsible card in your journal, under one line with the combined totals. It's presentation only — every entry keeps its own identity, amounts, and macros underneath, and the day's numbers don't change in any way.
Meals logged together arrive pre-grouped: a photo's detected dish, a voice log with several foods, a saved meal — all show up as one card from the start.
Grouping manually
Long-press to select two or more entries, then choose Group in the selection bar. They collapse into one card; tap it any time to expand and work with the individual items.
Ungrouping
Select a grouped card and choose Ungroup — the entries return to standing on their own. Nothing else changes.
Why bother
A day of grazing can turn into fifteen loose lines. Grouping the snacks, or keeping each cooked meal as one card, makes the journal read the way you actually ate — and scrolling through history much more pleasant.
