High-Calorie Days and Weekly Distribution

Keep the weekly total, move the calories — bigger days where your life actually needs them.

Even by default

Out of the box, every day of your week gets the same targets. For a lot of people that's the easiest thing to stick to, and there's nothing to configure.

Shifting calories toward chosen days

If your weeks have a shape — training days, family dinners, the weekend — you can mark high-calorie days. Those days get a meaningfully higher calorie target, and the remaining days absorb the difference, so your weekly total stays exactly the same. You're not eating more; you're placing the food where it helps.

Two design choices worth knowing:

  • Protein stays constant every day. Only carbs and fat move — muscle doesn't take weekends off.
  • The redistribution needs somewhere to pull from: with no high days selected (or nearly every day selected) there's nothing to shift, and the week behaves as even.

You'll find the option in your plan's calorie distribution settings, where you pick which weekdays run high.

Fully custom days

The Collaborative plan mode goes further: instead of high/normal days, you set each weekday's share of the weekly budget yourself, within sane bounds, as percentages that average out to your target. It's meant for people who already know exactly how they want their week shaped — the coached distribution covers everyone else.
