What it does
At the bottom of the Body tab, Compare Metrics puts two dates head to head: your weight first, then every visible body measurement, each as then → now with the change — absolute and as a percentage.
Pick the window with the presets — 7 days, 30, 90, 6 months, or a year back from today. For each metric the app uses the entry closest to each endpoint, so you don't need measurements on those exact days; a metric with no entry on either side shows a quiet "--".
Judged by your goal
The change colors know what you're trying to do. Losing? A drop reads as progress. Gaining? The same drop reads as the thing to fix. On maintenance, changes stay neutral — there's no direction to root for. It's the same goal-aware honesty as the habit calendar.
Getting the most from it
- The comparison only covers visible metrics — curate them in Manage Metrics so the list is your list.
- Longer windows tell truer stories: 90 days of waist beats 7 days of anything.
- For the visual version of the same question, the before/after photo builder is one tab away.
