The overview
The Insights tab opens on an overview of five sections, top to bottom:
- Expenditure — your current estimate with its status chip, how it compares against your 30-day average, and quick stats for the 30-day average and 7-day change. Tap through for the full screen: the chart with its uncertainty band, changes over several windows, your current targets, and — when updates are on hold — a banner explaining exactly why, with a shortcut to fix it.
- Habits — two cards, Weigh-In and Food Logging, each with a 30-day dot grid and a this-week count. They lead to the habit calendars.
- Macros — today's calories, protein, carbs, and fat against targets.
- Nutrition — the full set of tracked nutrition metrics, from water and fiber through vitamins and minerals, each a card with today's amount. Every card opens its metric's detail screen.
- Achievements — your streak and badge count, leading to the badge collection.
Make it yours
The ⚙ button opens Customize Insights: toggles for each of the five blocks, then per-metric toggles for the macro and nutrition cards. Track no interest in sodium? Hide the card; its data keeps accumulating quietly and returns intact if you re-enable it.
One practical note: this arrangement is stored on this device — a new phone starts from the default layout.
Where the numbers come from
Nothing in Insights is separate bookkeeping: every card is a view over the same diary, weigh-ins, and day states the rest of the app runs on. Fix an entry in the journal and the charts already know.
