Today, up top
The dashboard leads with today's progress: calories against your target and each macro's progress, plus your water for the day. The numbers move as you log — this is the screen worth a glance before deciding what dinner looks like.
Your day below
Underneath, the day's journal: what you've logged, meal by meal, expandable and editable right there. The full journal screen offers the same with more room.
Things that appear when they matter
The dashboard surfaces what needs you, when it needs you:
- the weekly check-in banner, on your check-in day (see Your Weekly Check-In);
- your logging streak and celebration moments as they happen;
- a pointer to the Discover guides while you're new (dismissable for good).
The add button
The button in the middle is the whole logging arsenal: search is always there, and the shortcuts around it — photo, voice, barcode, quick add, and more — are yours to rearrange under Profile → Add button shortcuts, so the ways you actually log sit closest. Everything else in the app exists to make what happens after that tap accurate.
