Gravl on Your Watch: Apple Watch, Wear OS and Garmin

Log sets, run rest timers and check what's next straight from your wrist - your phone can stay in your bag! ⌚

Scritto da GoranAggiornato

Tired of pulling out your phone between sets? Gravl runs on Apple Watch, Wear OS watches and Garmin watches, so you can control the whole workout from your wrist.

Setup and troubleshooting differ per platform, so each one has its own guide:

What you can do from your wrist

On all three platforms, the watch app lets you:

  • See your exercises and what's coming next (on Garmin you get the current set, plus what's up next while you rest).
  • Log sets and edit reps and weights on the fly.
  • Run the rest timer with a buzz when it's time to lift again.
  • Rate your exertion after exercises.
  • Handle supersets, dropsets and timed exercises.
  • Get a PR celebration right on your wrist when you set a new record.
  • Track your heart rate and calories during the session.

Everything syncs live with your phone, including pauses - so you can switch between wrist and phone whenever you like.

Good to know

  • Starting a workout from the watch follows the same subscription rules as on your phone.
  • The watch needs your phone within reach to start a session - the heavy lifting (pun intended) still happens in the app.
  • Rest timers on the watch buzz your wrist when time's up - way harder to miss than a phone notification from inside your gym bag.
