Notifications and Reminders

Reminders that know when they're not needed — and exactly how to shape or silence them.

Updated

The three reminders

  • Meal reminders — one per meal, each with its own time. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner start enabled at sensible hours; the snack reminder exists but starts off.
  • Weigh-in reminder — weekly, on your check-in day, so a fresh weight is in before your review.
  • Daily log nudge — one evening reminder if the day hasn't been logged yet.

They stay out of your way

Reminders check before they speak: if you've already logged food that day, meal reminders and the nudge stay silent; already weighed in, no weigh-in ping. Logging is the off-switch — people who log consistently barely see a notification at all.

Making them yours

Profile → Notifications holds one global switch and then each reminder individually: on or off, and at what time. Reminders are local to your phone; times you set are yours per device.

Permissions

The app asks for notification permission during setup (skipping is fine). If you declined and want reminders later, your phone's Settings is where the permission gets re-granted — the app will point you there when needed.
